Hi Kam, I love Lake Lavine. I really regret passing up the opportunity to purchase a fixer-upper cottage with 95feet of lake frontage at auction 7/26/08. My grandmother owned property on Lake Lavine in the 1930's and my mother remembers walking down a lane to go swimming. When we inspected the property before the auction I felt such serenity there. If you hear of or know anyone that can keep their ears open for future sales of waterfront property on Lake Lavine, PLEASE let me know. Fixer-upper cottages would be perfect. Wow ... I love your photos. We too attended the auction and are the ones who purchased the "fixer upper" cottage ... we will never sell our piece of heaven!

I see. My friends parents live on the north shore and I knew most of their neighbors. Just went there for he Fourth, they had firework and a boat parade
ours was 2 to the left of the cottage that is 7 pics down... my cousins had the 2 story white one in the middle of the tenth one down too

I have been going to lake lavine for 38yrs good times good fun and just helped my uncle put in his dock on friday

My name is Suzanna Almones (Suzie Neusbaum). My parents are/were Flora Neusbaum and O.J. Neusbaum. I lived on lake levine from the time of my birth until I was eleven years old, when we moved to Florida. I think about all the great times I had there growing up, and I miss it. I would love more than anything to live there again.
Had cottage on SE end in 60's. We were first to ski on the lake. Set up gentlemen's agreement 10AM - 3PM for skiing.

4th of July at Lake Lavine is as close to heaven on earth as you can get. This has been proven by professors from Cornell and Yale.
Picture 8 shows the cottages to the left of ours and 9 those to the other side. been going there 40 years. Grandparents owned the cottage, now my parents do!!
